Lisa Bent, Horseback Riding Instructor

Horses have been a part of Lisa's life for as long as she can remember. It all started with eventing at a very early age. She joined and competed in Pony Club, which gave her connections with trainers and great riding opportunities. She then went on to compete in Hunters.

Over the years, Lisa's trainers have included well known names such as: Major Jeremy Beale (former Olympic rider for Great Britain and USDF gold medalist), Al Steiert (lifelong horseman and importer/owner of Abundance, one of the most consistent and prepotent Hanoverian stallions standing in the US), and John Muldoon, National Champion Trainer and five time Chester County Horse Show Association "Trainer of the Year").

Lisa is a professional trainer/rider that has been training students since 2002 in hunter/jumper/equitation and has taken them to the top ranks in the local Chester County Circuit. Her students are also successfully competing on the A rated circuit including Devon Locals. With her dressage background, her teaching style focuses on a balanced seat and hand with proper basic fundamentals for beginner as well as intermediate and advanced riders. Lisa has a critical eye and is an instructor who moves her students and horses to achieve peak performance while consistently maintaining an attitude of patience, serenity and ease.
